1) do we like the new system? D&D 3.0, D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder v1 were all pretty much the same game. D&D 4 and D&D 5 are different. We did not like 4 and hardly played. Understand that 5 is enjoyable but have not personally played. 2) ease of converting between v1 and v2. Things will be considerably different and many monsters, classes, archtypes and equipment may not exist in the new rules. 3) backlog of Pathfinder v1 adventures vs. new v2 adventures. There will be much less publish adventure material to play when things get started.
I expect that we will play both. I have no plans to convert Legacy of Fire to PFv2. It is already 3.5 running under PFv1. There are a few things that are coming for PFv1 that I am extremely interested in running.
